Introduction to This Blog

I attempted to start this blog my first year of college, but I couldn't keep up with it. I would forget to post and get mad at myself for not keeping up with it. I decided to try it again. I'm about to start my third year at a 4-year private university. I love writing and I love learning, and this blog gets to combine these two passions. I want to share my ups and downs, highlights and struggles as not only a college student from a low socio-economic status, but also as a first generation college student, meaning that I am the first person in my family to go to college, and a Daniels Fund Scholar. Some of the posts will follow my academic and educational endeavors; others will follow life struggles; still others will provide advice and tips and information I wish I knew.
